Co-ordinates the execution of the Construction activities, procedures, flow of information and interfaces within the specified area of competence, ensuring Company economic and strategic results and the observance of HSE and Quality procedures and practices.
1. Maintains relationship with the Project Teams, other Departments and Clients (as the case may be) operating in the field of expertise he's in charge of.
2. Collaborates with the Commercial Function during the estimating, tendering and budgeting phase and require assistance from Commercial Department during construction for contract interpretation.
3. Draws up the Projects’ schedule and the Construction strategy within the specified area of competence and identify human resources and equipment requirements. Defines the time and costs required for fulfilment of established objectives.
4. Co-ordinates Construction execution activities and constantly monitor economic-operative progress by analysing any deviations from the program and implementing the necessary corrective action, providing support to the Project Manager and Project Director.
5. Acts as contact point between the Construction sites and the Head Office.
6. Notifies of investments and/or disinvestments required for work programs, especially further the Direct Hiring activities.
7. Ensures the correct use of assigned technical resources and implement the appropriate procedures in collaboration with the relative Company Unit.
8. Fosters a genuine HSE culture within the Construction Management Staff.
9. Ensures the preparation of Project completion reports with all required data for future use of Company Units.

Be the Lead Pipeline Engineer on the project related to on-shore pipelines systems and to provide guidance and technical advice to the Pipeline Engineering team
Specific Accountabilities
Site visit / Survey and Data Collection
Pipeline route reconnaissance

Ability to undertake Stress / Flexibility Analysis.
Knowledge of selection of materials.
Review of other discipline deliverables for interface checking, inter discipline co-ordination activities etc.

Preparation of Material Requisitions (MRs) also called as RFQs (Requisition of Quotation)
Evaluation of Technical Quotations / Offers submitted by the Vendors
