Job Purpose & Scope:
Deliver the treatment facilities package of the BAB Master Plan
Ensure consistency and progress of the studies in line with the other
packages of the BMP
Verify with BMP team that Treatment Facilities development plans are
consistent with the subsurface plans, including sufficient provision to
accommodate for uncertainties. Highlight development scenarios for which
flexibility can be built and those which are incompatible.
Identify optimization opportunities and synergies (in particular fluid
streams blending or segregation)
Establish an overall oil & gas development plan of Treatment
Facilities integrating and completing ADCO and GASCO plans, taking into
account obsolescence and replacement needs. In particular, lay-out
constrains (including safety aspects) will be assessed and
recommendation for the location of future additional treatment
facilities will be made.
Issue the Treatment Facilities part of the BMP with related Guidelines
for future developments
Main Duties/Accountabilities:
Management and technical
Define BMP scope of work for Treatment facilities package with
associated schedule and responsibilities (ADCO or external). Prepare the
related cost estimates.
Ensure collection of reliable and up to date data in a frame work
consistent with the other packages and between ADCO and GASCO compiled
data..
Identify possible scenarios based on ADCO and GASCO plans and compile
relevant basis of design
In coordination with other packages, define the accurate battery limits
of the package study and participate to the interface coordination.
Define the objectives and the scopes of studies to be implemented, and
in particular the level of these studies (pre-conceptual, conceptual,
etc) and their execution strategy (internal or not).
Launch and monitor the progress and delivery of the said studies.
Participate, within the limits of Treatment Facilities to overall
coordination with all involved parties in Oil and Gas production but
also when necessary, with third parties impacting (or potentially
impacted by) Bab field development
Health, Safety & Environment
Follow Company’s health, safety, and environment policy, procedures,
regulations and objectives as they relate to his or her area of
responsibility and ensure that they are effectively implemented in this
domain
Ensure that Safety and environmental issues are integrated in the study.
In particular, make sure that impact to and from all stakeholders on
well locations, rig and logistics access, drilling activities are
integrated in the study.
Implement the necessary safety studies to design clusters lay-outs and
identify possible location of future clusters.
Communication & Information Management
Ensures close cooperation and coordination with other Packages, ADCO
designated contacts to ascertain BMP objectives and concerns are
understood and shared
Closely follow-up progress of the activities delegated to ADCO or
subcontracted and report to BMP team leader.
Obtain specialist expertise is provided as required
Ensures contacts and exchanges with all involved stakeholders when
required

Requirements
Minimum Qualification, Knowledge, Skills and Experience/ (Key
Competencies)
Technical
10 years experience in oil and gas process studies, of which 5 years
experience in management role.
Strong analytical expertise, integration skills
Good understanding of reservoir development requirements
Strong experience in conceptual studies, overall complex field
configuration development and conceptual design.
Solid knowledge and understanding in surface facilities of oil & gas
production, particularly related safety aspects.
Behavioural
Excellent interpersonal skills and team work ability
Ability to have a high level view of oil and gas development
Ability to propose optimizations and synergies
Strong and diplomatic communicator
Good facilitation skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, preferably in the oil and gas
discipline
Very good spoken and written knowledge of English

butanediol, tetrahydrofuran, acetic acid, acetic anhydride, vinyl
acetate monomer, as well as carbon monoxide. From 2013 they will also
produce Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, Low Density Polyethylene, Ethyl Acetate,
Butyl Acetate, Cross Linkable Polyethylene, and Semi conductive
Compound.
All senior positions with western passports will receive accommodation
provided or 25% base salary as housing allowance. There is
transportation allowance payable. Leave is 22 working days per year with
married status receiving one ticket per annum and single status two
tickets.
Salary for senior engineers circa £60k annum.

Job Description : Experience in major oil & gas projects in a
similar position. Must have executed major projects as the Lead Process
Engineer for an Engineering Contractor/Consultant organisation. Full
involvement and contribution in design, engineering, P&ID reviews,
HAZOP and safety reviews is absolutely essential. In addition,
familiarity with licensor packages as well as co-ordination experience
is mandatory. Candidate shall have the proven capability to
independently handle process simulations and calculations and prepare
optimization reports where necessary and as directed by Owner.
Process Design Scope of Work:
Monitor that the process design is compatible with the overall
requirement to optimize the Project investment and operating costs.
Perform a continuous review of the EPC Contractor's designs to establish
that the facilities are engineered in accordance with the process design
requirements.
Review the detailed design of major equipment items that affect the
process guarantees.
Monitor that process and utilities information affecting the design of
utility generation and distribution systems and offsite support
facilities are developed promptly and rationally.
Attend Licensor Meetings regarding process design.
Contract is for approximately 15 months and work location is Abu Dhabi
